Thank you for looking at my profile at the National Ethics Association. I am a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, and as such I strongly adhere to The Honor Code: "We will not lie, steal, or cheat...nor tolerate among us anyone who does." http://www.usafa.af.mil/information/factsheets/factsheet.asp?id=9427. I joined this association at NEA to associate myself with others who have the same high ethical standards.
My background includes working in 9 home improvement companies, including The Home Depot, as an outside salesperson. This allows me to work with customers in their home. I have several licenses to do so with the State of California, called a Home Improvement Salesperson license, which are 52839KA, 52839LA, 52839MA, and 52839NA. I currently sell for several companies, choosing the best options for my customer in areas of solar power, heating and air, window replacement, attic insulation, roofing replacement, and restoration of facilities destroyed by fire, flood, or earthquake. I also have several informative websites with additional information for you at http://www.solar4california.com., http://www.woodshakeroofs.com, http://www.jimscottinsurance.com, http://www.riolinda-elverta.com, and http://www.oryansart.com.
I am licensed as a Life and Health Insurance agent with the State of California, license number 0G28631. This allows me to work in a secondary job to assist customers with final expense and other life insurance products. I have a personal website for your use at http://www.jimscottinsurance.com. It is under construction, but has some valuable information at this time.
Over my lifetime, I have had 3 children, 12 grandchildren, and have been married 44 years. I had a retail business for 20 years, serving the public with gourmet foods. During that time, I contracted with large corporations such as AT&T, Ford Motor Co., etc. and served over 1 million customers. The business closed in 2004 due to changes in the economy regarding our business.
Prior to that business, I was a pilot in the US Air Force, saving many lives and much property. I had originally entered the service as an enlisted person in 1965 at the beginning of the Vietnam war, then applied after two years to the US Air Force Academy, from which I graduated in 1971. During my service years I was selected as Junior Officer of the Year, and received the Air Force Commendation Medal.
