Integrity: Thank you for looking at my profile at the National Ethics Association. I am a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Class of 1971, and as such I strongly adhere to The Honor Code: "We will not lie, steal, or cheat...nor tolerate among us anyone who does." I joined this association to associate myself with others who have the same high ethical standards.
Helping others: My background includes working in 16 home improvement and solar companies, since 1996, including The Home Depot, as an outside salesperson, with a lot of experience helping customers in their home with their home improvements. I have a license to do so with the State of California, called a Home Improvement Salesperson license, which is 52839SP.
I currently broker solar, choosing the best options and company for my customer in areas of solar power because it's good for the environment and for families. I strongly believe that too many residents have had high solar bids and believe that they can't get solar. This causes them to push away any new bids, resulting in a bad thing for the environment when, with a lower price, they could have saved money, reduced their carbon footprint, and enjoyed solar power for a lifetime.
Solar is a great legacy investment because it lasts so long, therefore older citizens can put it in place for the next family that buys their home.
Pushing away another estimate can be bad for the environment, as there are not many new ways to generate energy. I encourage homeowners to keep trying, or let me try for them, to see if it can be installed without any new out-of-pocket costs and paid off in the shortest possible time.
Personal history: Over my lifetime, I have had 3 children, 12 grandchildren, and have been married 47 years. I had a retail business for 20 years, serving the public with gourmet foods. During that time, I contracted with large corporations such as AT&T, Ford Motor Co., etc. and served over 1 million customers. The business closed in 2004 due to changes in the economy regarding our business.
Prior to that business, I was a C-141A pilot in the US Air Force, saving many lives and much property. I had originally entered the service as an enlisted person in 1965 at the beginning of the Vietnam war, then applied after two years to the US Air Force Academy, from which I graduated in 1971. During my service years I was selected as Junior Officer of the Year, and received the Air Force Commendation Medal.
