    Estate & Medi-Cal Planning


    Robert W. Ash is a native of California born and raised in the Sacramento area. He has resided in the Grass Valley Nevada County area since 1979 and enjoys all outside activities. He is a licensed attorney and has practiced law in the estate and financial planning areas for 26 years. He is past president of the Georgetown Ca. Rotary Club. His law practice has been in the areas of estate planning including a variety of special trusts necessary for specific circumstances including special needs and irrevocable trusts. In addition Robert has a very busy practice in the financial planning field and is the sole owner of Ashland Financial Resources. Robert has sponsored numerous workshops in Living Trusts and all related documents. Robert also spends a great deal of time working with Seniors on how to preserve their estates from catastrophic health care events and is owner of Nursing Home Strategies, Inc., a company that creates strategies to protect clients assets for Medi-Cal eligibility.


    Robert graduated from Sacramento State University and subsequently attended McGeorge College of Law Sacramento which is affiliated with the University of Pacific. He obtained a Juris Decorate degree in 1976 and passed the California Bar in the same year. Subsequent to his graduation he has attended and continues to attend on going continuing education covering areas from California tax law to estate and financial planning.


    Robert is a member of The California State Bar Association and is certified to practice before the Eastern District of the Court of Appeals and the California Supreme Court. He is also a member of the Better Business Bureau and The National Ethics Association.
