Mission: The mission of the National Ethics Association is to help members succeed by doing business ethically and legally in their respective states. We do this by providing information, services, and tools that help members avoid trouble and resolve problems when they occur. We also provide a full roster of discounted products and services, along with opportunities to connect with a vibrant peer community. In short, the National Ethics Association is committed to helping its members succeed by doing business right.

Members: The National Ethics Association consists of small-business owners and professionals from financial services and other industries who believe that best practices are the foundation of business success. By becoming an Association member, they get the information they need to succeed and the support they value from fellow professionals.

Technology Partners: Acxiom Information Security Services, a world leader in security information technology, conducts the Association's criminal background checks. TransUnion, a global leader in information technology, conducts NEA's civil background checks. Both of these entities provide written documentation of each completed background check, which is available to regulators upon request.

Company Management: The National Ethics Association Management Team includes Steven R. McCarty, co-founder and Chairman; Jeffrey S. Kopitz, co-founder and President; and Japheth Smellie, Vice President of Operations. Both McCarty and Kopitz have an extensive background in financial services and many years of experience serving individual consumers and business owners. Smellie brings deep experience managing company operations, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer experiences.
