National Ethics Bureau Makes Criminal Background Check Mandatory For Member Approval

The National Ethics Bureau (NEB) today announced that, in addition to holding a professional license and having an exemplary record of business ethics within ones industry, applicants must submit to a seven-year criminal background check. The National Verification Agency (NVA), the nationally recognized certification, rating and award program for professional advisors, has announced plans to offer a substantial reduction in fees to a select group of professional advisors nationwide. "Effective immediately, we will be offering to waive our lifetime initiation and set-up fees to a number of 'pre-approved' advisors based on our advanced screening process", said Jeffrey Kopitz, the NVA's Chairman of the Board and Director of Research.
